The Disciple MIPS¨ helmet has a fiberglass shell, plush interior padding, and vented brow ports for comfort. Meanwhile, Vinyl nitrile padding along the jaw line contributes to impact management in this critical area, and the integrated, breakaway P.O.V. camera mount plus built-in speaker pockets let you dial in your sound and images. It's also equipped with the MIPS¨ system to redirect impact energy, which can provide more protection in certain impacts. Altogether it's an impressive option for a new era of riding.

INTEGRATED MIPS. All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of GiroÕs integrated MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the MIPS slip plane with the helmetÕs adjustable fit system. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to riderÕs brain in certain impacts.
P.O.V. CAMERA MOUNT. Our integrated POV camera mounting system is stealth, secure and super-easy to operate, allowing you to instantly deploy your POV camera for filming or quickly pop it off and stash it.
VINYL NITRILE. Vinyl Nitrile (VN) is a soft and flexible material with exceptional impact management properties. Unlike expanded polystyrene (EPS) foams which can have diminished performance form each successive impact, VN can rebound to consistently absorb impact energy over more than a single impact when utilized appropriately.
